TESDA – KOICA hi-tech project inaugurated

LEGAZPI CITY --- True to the agency’s mandate to provide germane, accessible, quality and technical vocational training system in support to the TESDAbotlahat commitment slogan, TESDA Malilipot Albay Provincial Training Center (PTC) in partnership with the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) inaugurated recently the state-of-the-art laboratory workshops project in Automotive technology.

The project was erected in 530 square meters and furnished with urbane training facilities for wheel alignment and balancing, vehicle ground lifting and tire changing, enhanced training modules, heightened mock-ups and improved e-learning facilities.

The inauguration and turn-over ceremonies were graced by Tabaco City Mayor Cielo Krisel Lagman-Luistro who is also representing Cong. Edsel C. Lagman, LGU Malilipot Mayor Cenon B. Volante, TESDA Bicol Regional Director Atty. Andrew A. Bido, Albay Provincial Director Ruth E. Dayawen, KOICA Program Coordinator Jakyung Kim, KOICA Program Officer Nessa M. Sulit, Expert Michael Angelo M. Neo, Korean Volunteer Jeon Dukjoon and other stakeholders.

TESDA PTC Malilipot Chief Alecia L. Buetre told the Bicol Mail that the advanced training facilities will open the opportunity for the youths and young adults who are inclined in automotive technology to experience world-class training experience making them globally job-ready and responsive to the demands of the fourth industrial revolution in automotive industry.
