Message of Archbishop to the Caceres Clergy

My brother Priests,

Pax Christi!

Our priesthood is borne out of the passion, death and Resurrection of Jesus.

In priestly ordination we received the Holy Spirit that Jesus gave forth from the Cross.

This Divine gift of the Holy Spirit given at the cross continuously inspire and lead us to penetrate into the Paschal Mystery.

As we commemorate the Lord’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem to fulfill the Father’s will, let us renew our own journey with Jesus in fulfilling God’s will for us: to be suffering servants like His Son Jesus.

Through our Holy Week ministry and personal prayers, let us lead our faithful to a meaningful celebration of Holy Week.

This is a grace-filled time for us to experience being good shepherds who, like our Master, are ready to lay down our lives in charity and humble service for our fauthful.

This is the best manner we can commemorate our Lord’s Passion.

Be assured of my fraternal love and prayers and blessing for you during this Holy Week.

May our INA be us un all our celebrations.
