Shabu peddler nabbed

NAGA CITY --- After a brief chase, a suspect was collared after peddling a sachet of shabu worth P500 to a poseur during a buy-bust operation in a subdivision here Saturday afternoon.

Karl Jeff Macalla, 35, was collared minutes later after he tried to escape when a poseur-policeman bought from him a sachet of suspected shabu at 5th Street, Villa Sorabella Subdivision, Concepcion Grande, this city, at about 6:00 p.m. last May 11.

The suspect is now facing a criminal case for violation of RA 9161, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
