Camaligan PNP chalks up peaceful elections
NAGA CITY---The Camaligan Municipal Police Station reported on Wednesday that the conduct of the May 13 polls in their area of jurisdiction was generally peaceful.
In an interview, P/Maj Ronald Brugada, Camaligan PNP chief, said that there was no report of any election-related violation on the day when it was held.
Brugada thanked the barangay officials and the village watchmen for ensuring the peace and order situation in the town for the entire duration of the election day.
P/Chief MSgt. Henry Carmona also extended his thanks to the personnel of the Philippine Army and the Philippine Coast Guard based in Camaligan town for the systematic and effective implementation of their safety and security approaches during the conduct of the election.
