3 students nabbed for marijuana use
NAGA CITY---Three students, two of them of minor age, were held for smoking dried marijuana leaves last Friday morning, July 21 inside the comfort room of the main campus of Camarines Sur National High School along Peñafrancia Avenue, this city.
Jonas Domitita, 18, is now under the custody of the Naga City Police Office NCPO while his two minor classmates have been turned over to the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO).
They were found violating RA 9165, or Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Elmer Peñaflor, the school security guard, said he was on roving duty when he noticed white smoke emitting from one of the cubicles of the comfort room.
He thereon caught a minor who will be unmentioned due to legal issues smoking dried marijuana leavess. The young suspects were brought to the principal’s office for proper disposition of the case.
