GOING FOR GOLD

GOING FOR GOLD! The Manila Group alumni of the Camarines Sur National High School (CSNHS), Batch 1973 got together last August 10, 2019 at the Vikings Mega Mall in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila to forge ahead with their part of the 5-year planning for their 2023 Golden Anniversary homecoming grand celebration in Naga City. Present were Imelda Avenido-Belen, Batch-73 Deputy Chair for Manila along with her fellow alumni (from the left): Fe Panganiban-Sanchez, Rodolfo “Pong” Serrano, Rose Tinga, Mally Potes, Angeline Adao-Alagan, Merle Maraño-Gonzales, Imee Avenido, Malou Bombais-Velaquez and Marcy Alcantara. The Manila Group volunteered to chair the Legacy Book Project for Batch-73. The book will capture relevant historical information, personal stories of their batch mates during their school days at their Alma Mater, and black & white and sephia pictorials as contributed by their batch mates. Their meeting was a reunion of sorts as it was an exciting moment for Rose, Pong and Marcy who has not seen each other for the last 46 years! It was also a birthday celebration for Imee that merited a round of cheers!
