NO HOLIDAY BREAK

NO HOLIDAY BREAK. Early Monday morning, which was a holiday (Eid el-Adha), Naga City Mayor Nelson Legacion, accompanied by CEPPIO chief Allen Reondanga and newsmen Roy San Ramon and Joel Solina was on ocular inspection of the Sanitary Landfill in Brgy. San Isidro (top photo) that was being readied for the start of operation yesterday, August 14. A few hours later, he was joined in by Public Safety Office chief Renne Gumba and City Councilor Joe Perez to personally talk with establishment owners who may have structures encroaching on sidewalks along Roxas Avenue (seen in the picture below with an erstwhile structure already voluntarily demolished) and forewarn them about the impending demolition of illegal structures all over the city starting today (August 15) in compliance with Malacanang order to clear all streets and roads nationwide of these structures that obstruct traffic for both motorists and pedestrians.
