St. Joseph Parish Honor Our Lady of Perpetual Help with the Pwd’s
Over one hundred young students from different schools and parishes in Partido together with their teachers attended the symposium as the first activity from August 26-28 in celebration of the 7th Anniversary of devotion to our Mother of Perpetual Help and 4th Founding anniversary of Gilean Ministry in the Parish.
Last August 26, the One Day Youth Symposium with PWD Reach Out Workshop. There were three different topics that were presented:
How millennial can use the social media for good? Rev. Fr. Louie Occiano, Archdiocesan Director of Caceres Commission on Communications as speaker. This was followed by “Serving the church through Arts and Music” with Rev. Fr. Xavier R. Amoroso, Archdiocesan Director for Liturgical Music as speaker and lastly, “PWD’s - Persons with special needs who need persons with special heart.” with Rev. Fr. Joseph Wilfred Almoneda, Rector Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Joseph as speaker.
Second activity in celebration of the 7th Anniversary of devotion to our Mother of Perpetual Help and 4th Founding Anniversary of Gilean Ministry in the Parish. The chosen beneficiary for feeding are the patients together with their guardian from San Jose Medicare Community Hospital.
And on the 3rd day of the celebration was highlighted by the Medical Mission. There were 13 dental & 93 medical patients served by the volunteers. Among those present were: the Phil. Army 9thID 83rdIB medical & dental team headed by Maj. Alvine Alot & Cpt. Darlene Faye Cabales; BMC dental team headed by Dr. Maria Aleta Calustre; BMC RehabMed team headed by Dr. Venggie Ong;
Dr. Gilmarie Pacamarra, Dr. Jamilyn Day Relloso, & Dr. Gerardo Villafuerte. Also the donors of the medicines were Bro. Awe Chavez & Essentrix Choice Pharma headed by Mark Gem Chavez & Ace Angel Pharmacy.
