LEGAZPI CITY --- Police anti-child trafficking operatives rescued on Thursday morning five minors reportedly working as bar girls in a Videoke Bar in Casiguran town in Sorsogon a police report showed.
Police operatives likewise nabbed two alleged child traffickers Jenine Juadines, 42, married, owner of the Monjen Videoke Bar and Jane Delos Reyes, 41 a bar waitress, according to Capt. John Flofer Galano, Casiguran, town police chief.
Galano said the rescued minors were not natives of Bicol but reportedly came from other places.
Galano in an interview said personnel from the police, provincial social welfare office, and prosecution office swooped down the videoke bar at around 12:30 a.m. in Barangay Central and rescued five minors hired as bar girls and sex workers.
