New PLEB-Naga members assume office

The newly constituted members of the City's People's Law Enforcement Board (PLEB) pursuant to Executive Order No. 2019-034 issued recently by City Mayor Nelson S. Legacion formally assumed office September 7 officially electing Atty, Milagros R. Francia (Legal Practitioner) as Chairperson, and Councilor Miles Raquid Arroyo (SP Representative) as Vice Chairperson.

Completing the Board are P/Bgy. Alfonso Rodriguez (Liga ng Barangay), Norma San Jose (Women Sector) and Ferdinand Sia (Business).

Also appointed to the Board as observer non-voting members are Ex-Bgy. Capt. J. Antonio Amparado, MNSA and NAPOLCOM 5 Chairman of the Regional Appellate Board (RAB) Atty. Franco Fermin Avila.

Acting DILG City Director Luis Perpecto R. Boncodin, Jr. heads Secretariat.

The new Board also adopted the Information Caravan program of the previous Board and set to visit Barangay San Isidro headed by P/Bgy. Veronica Panganiban on September 1 6.

The PLEB hears and decides civilian complaints against erring and abusive policemen.

It meets every Saturday morning at the Blue Room, City Hall compound.
