How our “Jesuit Catholic Education and Training” have made us true to our mission as “MEN FOR OTHERS” will be at the core of this much awaited reunion of ADENU High School Batch ’61 dubbed as their “Diamond Jubilee Celebration” to be held not only inside the campus of Ateneo de Naga University but in other strategic and important places in the City of Naga. Series of activities from September to December 2019 to rekindle camaraderie and remembrance will highlight this once in a lifetime assembly and celebration of living members of ADENU High School Batch ’61. This will include their respective families at the core of activities. Lined up for the occasion are tried and tested batch of Ateneans namely: Elizer D. Alipante, Batch President, Ex Congressman Salvio F. Fortuno, Angel Divinagracia, Batch Treasurer, Monico K. Imperial, Atty. Agapito Rosales, Oscar Peñaflorida, Gerry Gumba, Jesus Clemente, Jose Barzaga, Atty. Monico Jacob, Dr. Rizalino Arquillo, Rev. Fr. Joven Malanyaon, Charles Honorio, Celso Barrosa, Generoso Segarra, Ben Moriño, Antonio Seumal, Elmer Gomez, Jose Obias, Pedro Tordilla, Carlos Los Baños, Leonardo Dayao, Nicanor Colar, Emil Saavedra and Buddy Espiritu.

Other Batch Members who are based in the USA and other parts of the world have signified their willingness to come and be counted are Roberto de la Torre, Pedro Serranzana, David Urcia, Inocencio Cedo, Gualberto Marchan, Carlos Nierva, Nonito Martires, George Martires, Levi San Luis, Ernesto Fabay and Hospicio Vibar. This celebration considered as a milestone in the lives of these Ateneans whose shining armors have made them what they are today, beacons of light not only in Bicol but also in various places in and around the country and abroad.

As their way of giving back to Ateneo de Naga University, these Ateneans will be appropriating a significant amount for scholarship grants to poor but deserving students. Batchmates are encouraged to participate in a “Direct Donation” campaign. This was emphasized by ADENU H.S Batch ’61 President Elizer D. Alipante who is also the concurrent Executive Committee Head as he urged his batchmates to “BE CONNECTED”, visit our “Facebook Page” and link up to our “Viber Group” for updates. As pointed out by him, batchmates are encouraged to participate and join various activities lined up for the occasion exhorting them to “COME HOME” and celebrate this milestone in their lives as “ATENEANS”. This will be a homecoming experience that is expected to be filled with joy and camaraderie.
