Teacher nabbed selling shabu
LEGAZPI CITY --- Anti-narcotics operatives collared on Sunday afternoon a public school teacher who was caught selling P67,000 worth of suspected “shabu” following a drug operation in Malinao, Albay, a Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bicol official said.
Christian Frivaldo, PDEA Bicol director, said Ramon Cuya, 38, married, of Tiwi, and an elementary public school teacher was arrested while selling illegal drugs at around 3:00 p.m. along the Maharlika Highway in Barangay Balza, Malinao town.
The drug buy-bust operation by PDEA agents yielded two heat-sealed plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 10 grams. The agents also impounded a motorcycle used by the suspect.
Frivaldo said the suspect is a PDEA high-value target. He is now detained at the Malinao police jail.
