Trader shot dead

LEGAZPI CITY --- A businessman was gunned down on Tuesday night by a still unidentified suspect in a far-flung village in Daraga town in Albay, a police report said.

Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson for the Bicol police has identified the victim as Eriberto Lomerio, 64, businessman, and a resident of Barangay Mabini.

The victim was driving his tricycle along the highway at around 6:40 p.m. when the suspect, armed with a handgun, fired at him in close range.

The victim was rushed by his son Gilbert to the Daraga Doctors Hospital but was pronounced dead by attending physicians.
