LEGAZPI CITY --- Anti-drug operatives seized P4.7 million worth of suspected shabu from two alleged notorious pushers in a drug sting on Saturday morning in Iriga City, a spokesperson of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bicol said.

Cotton Talento said Ramil Baraguir Modin, 43; and Guiamel Manamden Abdul Kadir, 36; both of Parañaque City were collared while selling shabu to an undercover agent in Barangay San Isidro at 9 a.m.

Seized from the suspects were shabu in two plastic bags weighing 700 grams, cash and other paraphernalia.

The suspects are detained at the PDEA custodial facility in Naga City and are facing charges of illegal possession and peddling of illegal drugs.

Meanwhile, two suspected drug pushers were arrested in an operation in a village in Virac, Catanduanes early Saturday morning.

Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Philippine National Police (PNP) Bicol spokesperson, said Raul Sorreda and Adelaida Trinidad were arrested at their residence around 3:05 a.m in Barangay Danicop.

The raiding team, armed with a search warrant, seized seven sachets of suspected shabu from the two. The suspects are detained at the Virac police station while awaiting the filing of charges for illegal possession and peddling of illegal drugs. (PNA)
