DOUBLE WHAMMY FOR BICOL CHAMBERS. Ms. Mergie Moraleda, was recently elected Regional Governor for Bicol of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI), replacing Ms. Clarine Palomares Tobias, the latter having been elected as PCCI’s Vice President for South Luzon. The election was held during the 45th Philippine Business Conference held at the Manila Hotel last October 16-17, this year. Ms. Moraleda, a businesswoman and hotel operator, was formerly the president of the chamber of commerce and industry in Daet, Camarines Norte while Ms. Tobias was president of the multi-awarded MNCCI, a Hall of Famer as most outstanding business chamber in the country.
