The people of this town, specially the recipients, are happy and amazed of this undertaking and innovation, while a lot of encouraging reactions for and positive outlook to the project are posted in the social media .
According to Ex PB Consolacion R. As to the menu and its nutritional aspect , they are coordinating with the DepEd for its recommendation”, she added.
In an interview with Mr. Rodolfo T. Belleza, he recalled that “ the Central Kitchen is a flagship social services of Mayor Pan which purpose is to lessen the burden of marginal parents in providing proper foods for their children and to ensure the massive eradication of malnutrition in the municipality.”
Belleza further stressed that the said social facility and project is just a part of the holistic approach of the administration together with infrastructure programs like the re-blocking and improvement of streets; intensive agricultural development in partnership with agri-business investors like contract growing; modernized economic enterprises through the face-lifting and re-designing of a public market with floor-level and basement parking and the construction of a state-of-the art slaughter house; and, the formulation of an effective and seamless revenue generation strategy.
Mayor Marcel S. Pan is known to be a popular and multi-awarded former local chief executive of Goa for three consecutive terms; once elected as a board member of the fourth district of Camarines Sur; and, won the mid-term election last May 2018 over his pioneer and long time political friend turned into a stiff mayoral rival in this most commercialized town in the district, the Lims, headed by, also a former mayor of Goa, Antero Lim.
