2 drug personalities arrested in separate anti-narcotics operations

LEGAZPI CITY --- Police anti-narcotics operatives seized several sachets containing suspected shabu (crystal meth) and handguns from two alleged street drug pushers in a separate drug sting on Sunday in the towns of Sipocot and Daet in Camarines provinces, a police report said on Monday.

Police operatives armed with a search warrant arrested at around 11:30 a.m. one named Joel Posada at his residence in Barangay South Centro, Sipocot town in Camarines Sur, said Police Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib Bicol police spokesperson.

Confiscated from the suspect possession were 20 pieces of suspected Shabu with an estimated street value of P20,000.

While the drug raid in Daet town, a certain Francisco Guinto Barba, Jr. alias Bong, 42 single a suspect drug peddler was collared at around 7:40 p.m. at his residence in Barangay 14 yielding six sachets of shabu including two handguns a .45 caliber pistol and a .38 revolver with live bullets.

The suspects companion Orlando Sacramento alias Agan was able to elude arrest.
