Mechanic crashed to death by dump truck

LEGAZPI CITY --- A mechanic was crashed to death on Tuesday noon by a dump truck he was repairing in Barangay Budiao, Daraga town, a police report said.

PCapt. Dexter Panganiban, identified the victim as Sammy Buhay, 40, mechanic of Barangay Binitayan, Daraga.

Buhay at around 12 noon was doing repair works underneath a dump truck when the truck wheel stopper accidentally detached causing the truck to move pinning him down that instantly killed him. Panganiban said.

The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead.
