Police nab 2 drug pushers

LEGAZPI CITY --- Anti-narcotics operatives nabbed two allegedly notorious drug pushers and seized P230,000 worth of suspected marijuana and shabu or crystal meth during separate drug stings on Dec. 10 in the towns of Bula, Camarines Sur and Jose Panganiban in Camarines Norte.

Vincent Salonga 20, of barangay Salvacion, Bula town was nabbed at around 4:30 p.m. at a drug buy bust operation yielding four marijuana bricks including nine plastic sachets of marijuana worth P200,000, according to Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Philippine National Police (PNP) Bicol spokesperson.

While in another raid, operatives arrested at around 5:30 p.m. ,Rowel Valera, 49, of barangay Parang, Jose Panganiban town in Cam. Norte. Seized from him were 21 pieces of plastic sachets containing shabu with street value of P30,000.

Calubaquib said Velera is No. 2 in the PDEA’s regional drug watchlist.
