Kusog Bikolandia now stronger after revamp

MANILA --- Kusog Bikolandia (KB), one of Bicol’s prominent and active regional parties, on on Saturday, Jan. 25 revamped its leadership positions as three of its high ranking officials relinquished their posts to capable board members of the organization.
Noel De Luna stepped down as KB’s party chairman, but will remain as chairman emeritus and the party’s lead adviser. He was replaced by lawyer Felix Brazil, KB’s former vice president (VP) for Camarines Sur who took his new post as party chairman.
Lawyer Steve Resari, assumed as the new KB president and executive director, while Gil Genorga, former VP for Masbate, took the helm as the new KB executive VP, formerly occupied by lawyers George Sarmiento and Roberto Lucila, respectively.
Ramon Robles filled in the vacated post of Brazil as VO for Cam. Sur while Mayor Don Mancenido of Camarines Norte assumed as the new assistant VP for Camarines Norte.
The revamp came as the new KB leadership has set its focus on the effective implementation of the party’s programs ,while the outgoing leaders will continue as consultants by executive committees.
Kusog Bikolandia has, for the past two years, supported political and social leaderships aligned with the development of Bicol region and the propagation of its people and culture.
Its more recent advocacies are on the expedited rehabilitation and reconnection of electricity in Albay and Sorsogon, after the damage brought by Typhoon Tisoy.
