DILG cites CS, 2 cities and 28 towns for good financial housekeeping

CAPITOL, CAMSUR ­­ The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) named the provincial government of Camarines Sur, its two cities, and 28 municipalities as 2019 Good Financial Housekeeping Passers of Region 5 (Bicol).

This piece of great news is most welcome at the provincial capitol especially under Gov. Migz Villafuerte’s stewardship as chief executive for he is cited for his prudence, his charisma, and his brand of servant-leadership.

The Good Financial Housekeeping aims to recognize local government units (LGUs) with good performance in financial transparency.

Aside from Camarines Sur province, the cities of Naga and Iriga as well as the municipal governments of Baao, Balatan, Bato, Buhi, Bula, Cabusao, Calabanga, Camaligan, Canaman, Del Gallego, Gainza, Goa, Libmanan, Lupi, Magarao, Milaor, Minalabac, Nabua, Pamplona, Pili, Ragay, Sagñay, San Fernando, San Jose, Sipocot, Siruma, Tigaon, and Tinambac were recognized for their own performance in matter of financial disbursement and transparency. mmec
