Police authorities in El Nido, Palawan have arrested and charged three women of murder and child abuse over the death of a 17-year old lass from Barangay Tagongtong in Goa, Camarines Sur, the newly opened first internet radio station in Partido area, Isarog Radio, reported recently.

According to the news report, the victim, Daniela Joanne Villaralvo, 17, was allegedly kidnapped and assaulted by three women led by the proprietress of a popular club in El Nido, Palawan, who was jealous over the victim whom she suspected as the mistress of her husband.

Jess Ortinero, Isarog Radio’s program host said the information about the case was relayed to him through cellphone text messages and Facebook messenger by the victim’s brother, Darwin John Villaralvo.

On Feb. 16, 2020, the remains of the victim were brought to the Imperial Funeral Parlor in Naga City.

Gaudencio Villaralvo, the father of the victim who was interviewed by Isarog Radio said that on Feb. 8, 2020 at about 2:00 PM in El Nido, Palawan, his daughter left their house for an errand. He said they were temporarily staying in El Nido due to his job assignment there.

The victim returned home at about 5:00 PM of the same day with severe multiple injuries on her head and body. Blood was also coming out of her mouth, the victim’s father said.

He then brought her injured daughter to a hospital and while on their way, Daniela was able to tell the story of her ordeal. Gaudencio said his daughter told him that she was first abducted and forced to board a tricycle by three women who hit and mauled her repeatedly.

Daniela died at 9:00 PM of Feb. 8 due to internal bleeding. She was unable to breath as blood choked her throat, Gaudencio said.

He said that the suspects were already arrested by El Nido police authorities. Charged for the crime of murder and child abuse pursuant to RA 7160 were Judy Ann Napalit Manco, Pierre Jane Loredo and Kris Samantha Ramos.

Manco led the attack on the victim, whom she believed to be having an affair with her husband. The police said jealousy was the motive behind the killing.
