Police in pursuit of stabbing suspect
TINAMBAC, Camarines Sur--- Police authorities are on the look out for a 50-years old man who stabbed his neighbor during a funeral wake on Sunday (Feb. 23) evening in Brgy. Antipolo here.
Maj. Gary Mangente, Tinambac police chief said the suspect Eddie Orolfo, of Zone 1, Brgy. Antipolo, stabbed Victor Villanueva, 32, of the same barangay using a small bolo.
The police report said the suspect fled towards an unknown direction after he stabbed the victim who suffered two stab wounds in his body. Villanueva was rushed to the Tinambac Municipal Hospital by neighbors who witnessed the incident.
Mangente said an old grudge led the suspect to stab the victim.
He said the pursuit operation against the suspect is continuing, while a frustrated murder case will be filed against him.
