P680K shabu seized in CSur
NAGA CITY --- An alleged notorious illegal drug pusher yielded some P680,000 worth of suspected shabu when arrested by anti-drug operatives on Tuesday, June 2 in a drug sting in Magarao town, Camarines Sur province, a Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) report said.
PDEA agent Samuel Detera, in an interview, said Alvin Nosil, 43, single of Calabanga town, was caught selling shabu to an undercover agent along a road in Barangay San Isidro around 3:30 PM.
“Seized from the suspect considered as high value target (HVT) was a plastic bag containing shabu weighing 100 grams,” he said.
The suspect was detained at the PDEA detention facility in the province while waiting for the filing of appropriate charges for selling and possession of illegal drugs.
Meanwhile, in Baao town, police operatives, armed with a search warrant, arrested Eduardo Bigay, 53, owner of St. Vincent Farm in Barangay San Vicente around 12:33 PM.
The raiding team recovered from the suspect’s residence at least seven sachets of shabu with undetermined weight and value, including drug paraphernalia. (PNA)
