CamSur town’s 5th most wanted nabbed

A man facing charges for rape in Goa, Camarines Sur, who is the town’s No. 5 most wanted person, was nabbed on Tuesday (June 16) morning.

Maj. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Police Regional Office 5 spokesperson, identified the suspect as Wheeler Arel alias “Yeye”, 46, of Barangay Pequeño in Goa.

Arel is facing a complaint for rape filed in December 2019.

Police operatives, armed with a court arrest order, apprehended the suspect in his hideout in Zone 1, Barangay Matacla in the same town at about 9:00 AM.

He is now detained at the Goa Municipal Police Station. No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty, Arel would be presented for arraignment to Judge Ma. Angela Acompanado-Arroyo of the Regional Trial Court Branch 58 in San Jose, Camarines Sur.
