Loan window in time of Covid

The SP Committee on Trade, Investment and Economic Enterprises chaired by Councilor Joe Perez on Tuesday, August 4, this year, discussed and finally moved to recommend to the Sanggunian plenary the enactment of an ordinance creating a business stimulus program that will provide loans to small businesses in the city affected by Covid 19.

It also moved to study and review further the proposed revised Investment Code of the City of Naga pending incorporation of new provisions and amendments as proposed by the committee.

The other members of the committee present were Councilor Sonny Rañola, M.D. (co-chair) and Councilor Miles Raquid-Arroyo.

Among the resource persons invited were Provincial Director Edna Tejada of Dept. of Trade and Industry, Metro PESO head Jun Mongoso, Naga City Investment Board head Reuel Oliver, Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry president Ferdinand Sia, BJ, of Metro PESO, and Liza Mapa of Naga City council of Women Federation.
