DOLE gives meds, supplies

LEGAZPI CITY --- The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Bicol has donated medical and essential supplies to Cabangan High School here through the Brigada Eskwela activity recently.

The donation includes 50 pieces of cloth face masks, three pieces of 3,785 ml 70% Solution Alcohol and a box of surgical mask.

Jerom A. Bermundo, Grade 9 teacher received the said supplies on behalf of Cabangan High School. Present during the awarding were DOLE Bicol chief Joel M. Gonzales, Arturo P. Corbe, Leah Dy and Ma Cecilia Mangampo, all DOLE officials.

"Malaki ang maitutulong nito sa aming school. Lubos kaming nagpapasalamat sa DOLE Bicol sa inyong malasakit at kabutihan,” Bermundo said.

“We are more grateful that our agency has become an instrument to reduce transmission of the virulent disease by sharing one of the essential supplies to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in schools,” Gonzales said.
