Police hunt killer of tricycle driver

SAN JOSE, Camarines Sur--- Police authorities are on the look out for the killer of a tricycle driver who was stabbed to death within the vicinity of Barangay Minoro here on Thursday, Sept. 24.

SSgt. Emmanuel Peñero, police investigator of the San Jose Municipal Police Station, identified the victim as Andy Tresvalles, 44, of Barangay Bolo while his killer has yet to be identified.

Peñero said that the victim while driving his tricycle was stabbed several times in the body and neck.

He said that based on witnesses, the suspect, who was the victim’s passenger has dark skin, bulky body, and 5 feet 3 inches to 5 feet 4 inches tall.

The police investigator said that based from autopsy, the victim suffered 14 stabbed wounds at the lower part of his back, chest, and a cut wound in his neck measuring several inches.

“The suspect is not a resident here and the motive remains unknown” he said.
