October is the Month of the Rosary
Amid worsening conditions related to the global coronavirus outbreak, Pope Francis urged Catholics to unite spiritually to pray the rosary last April 2020. To overcome this pandemic, the pope invited every family, every individual Catholic, and every religious community to pray the Rosary.
In the Archdiocese, during this month of the Most Holy Rosary this October, the Archbishop Rolando Tirona will lead us in a nightly recitation of the Holy Rosary in front of the Image of Our Blessed Mother, Our Lady of Peñafrancia.
Posted in the facebook page of the Archdiocese of Caceres: “We shall be led in prayer by our beloved Archbishop, Most Rev. Rolando J. Tria Tirona, OCD, DD. Reflections will be given by the Clergy of the Archdiocese”.
The said Rosary will be aired every night at 08:00 pm, via the Archdiocese of Caceres Facebook Page and YouTube Channel.
The prayers that compose the Rosary are arranged in sets of ten Hail Marys, called decades. ... During recitation of each set, thought is given to one of the Mysteries of the Rosary, which recall events in the lives of Jesus and of Mary. Five decades are recited per rosary.
