The vaccines arrived aboard a Cebu Pacific commercial flight from Manila at around 11:25 AM.

The new vaccines arrival was transported to the DOH cold storage facility for inventory.

The new vaccine delivery is allocated for Camarines Norte with 1,600 doses; 3,900 doses for Camarines Sur; 1,600 doses for Catanduanes; 2,200 doses for Sorsogon; and 13,700 doses for Albay.

The allocated doses for Albay include almost 10,000 remaining unvaccinated A1 (health workers) priority group.

Earlier, additional doses have been also directly delivered from the national office to the region’s island provinces. Some 15,760 doses were delivered to Masbate on June 13, and 2,320 doses to Catanduanes on June 11.

These vaccines will be used for Priority Groups A1, A2, and A3, or the health workers, senior citizens, and persons with comorbidities.
