284 participated in various TESDA training packages

BATO, Camarines Sur --- Bato Municipal Mayor Domingo L. Zorilla, Jr. and Dr. Rita R. Obsequio of TESDA CASIFMAS graced the graduation and recognition rites of the 284 training beneficiaries in various TESDA training packages. The graduation ceremony was held at LRV Gymnasium, March 17.
PESO Manager Cathyrine T. Colico and Registrar III Lorena Q. Quijano conferred that there were 100 trainees enrolled and participated in Theoretical Driving Course, 75 in Driving NC II, 31 in Liquid Soap Making, 25 in Bread and Pastry Production NC II, 25 in Massage Therapy and Makeup, 17 in Photojournalism, Photography and Digital Drone Operations and 11 in Tour Guiding Services NC II respectively.
Mayor Zorilla lauded the graduates and encouraged being grateful both to TESDA CASIFMAS and to the LGU in allotting time and funds for the trainings. Zorilla further advised to utilize wisely the skills and experienced acquired from the trainings either from engaging in a gainful wage employment or indulged in various livelihood undertakings so as to uplift the economic status of the individuals and of the community in general.
Dr. Rita R. Obsequio supposed that the convergence of LGU Bato and TESDA CASIFMAS in providing inclusive community-based training interventions among the residents is an avenue to ensure equality, accessibility and equity to techvoc training and certifications. The training activities helped the people in upgrading their interest and skills potential geared towards the attainment of a gainful job or to be entrepreneurs. Obsequio cheered the graduates to dream big, start small and act fast.
Few of the impressions from the graduates disclosed the benefits in joining TESDA training.

Meanwhile, TESDA trainers together with the focal persons in the LGU who were involved in the trainings were likewise recognized by handing them certificate of recognitions. The event was ended through the simultaneous dancing to the beat of the TESDA Abot Lahat hymn.
