5 Bicolanas to vie in Mutya ng Pilipinas 2022

FIVE beauteous Bicolanas will represent the Bicol Region in the final screening of Mutya ng Pilipinas 2022 on November 28, this year in Metro Manila.


The ladies were publicly introduced during the press presentation of the Mutya ng Pilipinas-Bicol last Sunday evening, November 6. They are: Jana Eloisa Lanuzga, 22, of Barangay Malawag, Nabua, Camarines Sur who will represent the province of Albay province; Miss Bicolandia 2022 Second Runner – Up Jeanette Reyes, 24, of Barangay San Cirilo, Pasacao, Camarines Sur who will represent Camarines Sur; Jaya Jarabejo, 25, of Barangay Pampang, Sorsogon City who will represent her province; Jessica Holz, 27, of Barangay Tara, Sipocot, Camarines Sur, who will represent Catanduanes; and Miss Bicolandia 2022 top 10 Pre – Finalist Janine Ahmad, 23, of Mercedes, Camarines Norte to represent her province.


Ahmad was not in attendance during the presentation as she is gone for Manila for her Bar examinations.


In an interview, Naidez Tria-Valencia, Mutya ng Pilipinas Bicol organizer said that these candidates will travel to Metro Manila on November 21 for final screening on November 28, 2022. The pageant’s coronation night is slated on December 4, this year.

The venues for the final screening and coronation night has yet to be announced by the pageant organizers.


Meanwhile, Eloisa Martinez-Badong, one of the contest’s organizers, said that the candidates were chosen from among the ten aspiring ladies screened during the same day of November 6.


Martinez-Badong confirmed that the candidates with the entire force of Mutya ng Pilipinas Bicol will conduct series of tours and courtesy calls before their travel to Metro Manila.


She said that the candidates will also visit Naga City Mayor Nelson Legacion and Camarines Sur Governor Vincenzo Renato Luigi Villafuerte who are among the major sponsors of the Mutya ng Pilipinas-Bicol.
