Agoda lauds Villa Caceres Hotel for its good food, services

By Jason B. Neola

Agoda, an international booking engine for hotels, gave Naga City’s Villa Caceres Hotel (VCH) a 9.3 rating in its 2021 Customer Review Awards with 10 as the highest score.

Because of such ranking with adjectival grade of “exceptional,” the hotel obtained the reputation of being a highly recommendable place among the city’s accommodation facilities for customers and guests who checked in through Agoda booking.

“Agoda customers are proud of their accommodation choices and share their views through informative and verified reviews on the key elements of their stay,” said Errol Cooke, Agoda’s Vice President for Partner Services, in his letter to the VCH management.

The accommodation facility is owned by hotelier-restaurateur Robert Obiedo, who is also the proprietor of Robertson Hotel along J, Miranda Avenue in Naga City.

Lyn Palmiano-Santy, VCH general manager, said that among the aspects on which the hotel was graded by guests and customers, include: cleanliness, service, facilities, location (accessibility), and value for money.

She, however, said that the hotel has scored well on good public relation that can be traced to the distinct character of every employee in the hotel. “Being approachable, accommodating, respectful, receptive, attentive, and friendly is natural to every one of us here,” Santy said.

Cooke in his letter said: “With the challenges faced by the travel industry over the past years, winning this award not only speaks about your exceptional service but it is also a testament to your hard work, dedication, and passion for providing your guests with an experience they truly value.”

In a customer’s review, a certain Milagros (full name withheld) from Canada described VCH as a nice place with a very helpful staff.

Her statement goes along with the testimonies of nine other travelers and guests who recounted their own experiences in the hotel in brief statements, such as, the hotel is worth-staying, its staff is courteous and crew members are professional, wishing for more time to enjoy the amenities, clean and nice atmosphere, buffet was a big plus, has lovely rooms and comfortable beds, great lap pool, nice bathrooms, and the hotel was a good choice.

Santy said the hotel’s department managers are all accredited by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) as trainors, another reason why Villa Caceres Hotel can provide its customers with high standard and above-board services.
