During the Lenten recollection for media practitioners held last March 23 at Villa Caceres Hotel, Occiano expressed gratitude to the local media members for their assistance in disseminating information about Caceres church activities during a mass.
According to Occiano, for the past 20 years, the media has made his job easier in handling and implementing programs of Caceres through the help of CCComm.
CCComm, in collaboration with the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkasters sa Pilipinas (KBP) chaptered in Camarines Sur, organizes an annual recollection for media practitioners.
About 70 media practitioners, mostly KBP-accredited radio personalities availed church services during the activity.
The activity was also participated by persons representing government agencies such as the PIA, PNP, Philippine Army and DepEd.
The KBP has spearheaded Lenten recollection for media practitioners every year since 1994.
KBP Camarines Sur Chairman Ron Enon stated that the activity is an annual event where media practitioners from various media companies in the province come together.
Enon noted that over the years, media personnel have demonstrated camaraderie through various activities beyond news gathering and press briefings.
Furthermore, this year’s gathering was sponsored by the CCComm's Community Advisory Board headed by Don Robert Obiedo.
