SAN RAMON, SIRUMA - In a heartwarming show of generosity and bayanihan spirit, Ateneo de Naga High School Batch ’99 successfully organized a Back-to-School Outreach Program at Daldagon Elementary School in San Ramon, Siruma. The event provided school supplies and hygiene kits to 166 students, giving them a much-needed boost as they prepare to start the school year.

Batch ‘99’s desire to give back to underserved communities led them to adopt the school for this meaningful outreach. Driven by a shared purpose, batch members came together to raise funds, gather supplies, and bring hope to young learners in a remote barangay.

Principal Cherry Aguado Manlangit warmly welcomed the team and expressed deep appreciation for their support: “This means so much to our students and their families. We’re truly grateful to Batch ’99 for reaching out and making education more accessible for our learners.”

Von Karl Bedural, President of Ateneo Batch ’99, shared what inspired the initiative:

“We saw a need — and we knew we could do something. Giving back is part of who we are, and this is just one way we can help create brighter futures.”

The event was filled with smiles, stories, and connections — not just between students and batch members, but between communities and hope.

With this successful outreach, Batch ’99 hopes to inspire more acts of service and spark more opportunities for youth in need.

Because every child deserves a good start — and every small act of kindness makes a big difference.
