BOC Legazpi surpasses revenue collection target for January 2021

CONSISTENT with its commitment to collect lawful revenues, the Bureau of Customs - Port of Legazpi, collected Php35,663,672.40 against the assigned target of P24,000,000 for the month of January 2021.

Based on the preliminary report submitted to Statistical Analysis Division, the revenue collection posted a surplus of P11,663,672.40 or 48.60% higher than the collection target for the said month.

Port of Legazpi’s major source of the revenue came from the importation of rice which is 69.44% of the total revenue collected. District Collector Arsenia C. Ilagan motivated the men and women of the port to do their best and keep up with the good performance to hit the monthly collection targets for the rest of the year.
