Bread & Spin Media conducts broadcast, journalism seminar
The Bicol Regional Evangelistic Association for Development Inc., (BREAD) and Secure Philippines International Network (SPIN MEDIA) organizations are holding a two-day Broadcast and Journalism Conference at the Avenue Plaza Hotel on Sept. 9-10, 2021.
Pastor Joey Piano, BREAD regional chairman and Brother Romy Redelecia, president and CEO of SPIN MEDIA organization headquartered in Metro Manila, have decided to co-sponsor the two day activity in Naga City.
Invited to attend the conference were provincial directors and support staff of the SPIN MEDIA group from the six provinces of the Bicol region as well as the members of the board of directors and other officers of BREAD.
All registered participants coming from the Island provinces of Catanduanes and Masbate, together with the four mainland provinces of Albay. Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte and Sorsogon will be billeted at the Avenue Hotel for health protocol requirements.
Pastor Ricardo E. Perez, a retired educator and former director of the Instructional Media Center of the University of Nueva Caceres will conduct the training/learning interaction on the basics during the Broadcast and Journalism Conference.
Pastor Ric has been active in the print and broadcast industry circle for the past several decades and hope to share his experiences with the participants in a meaningful way. He is also a contributing writer for Bicol Mail, the only Regional newspaper in Bicol.
With the prevalence of social media as an alternative form for sharing news and information, the Broadcast and Journalism Conference hopes to empower the participants to become more effective communicators themselves, armed with the basic tools and principles observed by industry practitioners, especially, the Code of Ethics for journalists.
