Bulawan joins top 75 entrants in Ms Universe Phils pageant

Jamina Bulawan, 24, of Tinago, Naga City made it to the list of top 75 candidates for the prestigious Miss Universe Philippines pageant.

Alevic Balaguer, Bulawan’s manager, told Bicol Mail that Jamina made her way to the list after earning more than 100 online votes from Bicolano supporters, who voted through the Ms Universe Philippines mobile app where the faces of 100 candidates throughout the country are on display.

Balaguer said Jamina must earn another winning vote for “pasarela” walk challenge, which will determine the top 50 candidates. He added that the date of the declaration of the top 50 is to be announced later.

He urged Naga residents and Bicolanos to support and vote for Jamina to enable her to make it to top 50.

Bulawan in her Facebook post invited Bicolano netizens to watch the full video of her “pasarela” walk via Miss Universe Philippines app and vote for her by tapping the star icon.

Bulawan, a resident of M. Castro Street, Barangay Tinago, Naga City, graduated with a bachelor degree in Computer Science at the Mapua University in 2018. She finished her secondary education at the Universidad de Sta Isabel in 2013.

She is the official candidate of Naga City in the pageant.
