Caceres Clergy observes annual retreat in groups

From November 3-8, the Clergy of the Archdiocese of Caceres, arranged by quadrants, had their annual spiritual retreat in various retreat houses across Luzon. Those in Quadrant 1 were in Sta. Catalina Spirituality Center in Baguio City with Fr. Anthony Ireneo, AOR as retreat director. Quadrant 2A priests were guided by Fr. Arlo Yap, SVD while Fr. Mimo Perez headed the Quadrant 2B priests in Mariapolis Peace, Tagaytay City.

Quadrant 3 priests, in Poggio Bustone Renewal Center in Zambales, had 3 facilitators: Fr. Francis Tordilla, Fr. Joey Gonzaga and Fr. Philip Bersabe. Those in Quadrant 4 were also in Baguio City with Fr. Raymundo Regua, CM as retreat director.

The retired priests of Caceres had their retreat at the Basilica Minore de Peñafrancia in Naga City.

The Code of Canon Law dictates that members of the Catholic Clergy must undergo a spiritual retreat every year to renew one's heart and zeal for the ministry.
