Caceres concludes the Year of St Joseph with Blessing of school building

During the closing ceremony of the Year of St. Joseph last December 7, 2021 at the Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Joseph, San Jose Camarines Sur, Caceres Archbishop Rolando J. Tria Tirona, inaugurated and blessed the new building at the Instituto de Caceres San Jose Campus.


Senator Franklin and Mrs. Mila Drilon donated the five classrooms for the use of the Junior High School students and was witnessed by Rev. Fr. Luisito Occiano, the Parish Priest and School Director, Mrs. Leticia Chavez, the School Principal, and by the faculty and special guests.


According to Sen. Drilon, whose wife Mila who is from San Jose, he values education thats why he passed several laws on education for the youth. He donated more than 50 schools in Camarines Sur alone.


After the blessing, the mass was celebrated at the Archdiocesan Shrine of St. Joseph to mark the closing of the Year of St. Joseph.


Within the mass was the Consecration of the Families to St. Joseph as well as the formal installation of the newly organized religious organization called Men of St. Joseph.


The Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines has recently given its blessing to launch the Men of St. Joseph- a Catholic Association of Men Committed to Jesus Christ and Consecrated to St. Joseph. The institution of the Men of St. Joseph is the Philippine Church’s response to the call of Pope Francis as contained in his Apostolic Letter - Patris Corde, encouraging us to reflect upon the role of St. Joseph in caring and loving our Savior… with the Father’s heart.
