CALABARZON’s most wanted slain by cops

The most wanted person in Southern Tagalog (CALABARZON) region was killed on Saturday (Nov. 28) night in a shootout with policemen while two of his companion were nabbed in a police operation in a village in Daraga town in Albay province, a police report said.


Rodel Llorera, 42, tagged as Region IV-A most wanted person was killed while resisting arrest by a joint police and military operatives who were about to serve a warrant of arrest at a residence in Barangay San Ramon, a remote Daraga village at around 9:00


PM, Capt. Dexter Panganiban, Albay police spokesperson, said.


Arrested during the raid were Felimon Madridano, 33, married, a construction worker, and Honeybee Boneo, 33, single, all residents of said place.


The report said that while the policemen were about to serve the arrest warrant, the suspect pulled his .45 caliber handgun and a hand grenade that led to a shootout with the cops. The suspect sustained multiple gunshot wounds that killed him on the spot.

Recovered from the crime scene were a .45 pistol with seven bullets, a grenade, and personal belongings.


Madridano was arrested for illegal possession of a .38 caliber pistol, while Boneo was arrest for harboring a criminal despite knowing that the suspect was a wanted person.
