CamSur PMC holds 1st quarter meeting

The Provincial Government of CamSur, through the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), held the 1st Quarter Meeting of the Provincial Project Monitoring Committee (PPMC) last February 18, 2025 at the IT Building, Capitol Complex, Pili.
The meeting is mandated pursuant to DILG Memo Circular No. 2004-78, s. 2004 and DILG Memo Circular No. 2019-188, s. 2019 to monitor and evaluate the implementation and completion of various line agencies’ projects in the province, discuss their updates, identify some of their encountered potential issues, and plan for necessary actions to ensure the smooth implementation of such projects.
Government line agencies presented particular projects implemented for the year 2024. Firstly, the Department of Agriculture presented the status of its farm-to-market roads as well as projects under the Philippine Rural Development Project. ICT trainings and proficiency examinations were also presented by the DICT. The Support Fund-Financial Assistance to Local Government Unit (LGSF-FALGU) of the DILG was also discussed, especially its major projects on food assistance, farm-to-market roads, parks and playgrounds, and multipurpose buildings.
Moreover, the National Irrigation Administration also reported the status of its irrigation projects, particularly the Paculago Irrigation Project, Waras Small Reservoir Irrigation Project, and the Bicol River System Improvement Project. Lastly, a quick stats, penal provisions, and formats of the National ID were also discussed by the Philippine Statistics Authority.
The Regional Project Monitoring Committee has provided the PPMC a list of Priority Projects to be monitored under its Infrastructure Flagship Project from agencies such as DA, DICT, DILG, PSA and NIA.
Also presented during the meeting were the PPMC 2024 accomplishment report and the work plan and field monitoring plan of the committee for the year 2025.pgomultimedia
