TRANSMARKE Sports Promotion Services announces the cancellation of the 1st Peñafrancia Enduro Trail Fun Ride 2025. Supposedly set this coming Sunday, September 14, 2025 with its Start / Take Off Area at the New Carolina PUV Terminal in Bgy. Carolina and Finish / Arrival infront of the Plaza Quince Martires in Centro Naga of this city, the organizer, Larry Limjoco of TRANSMARKE SPS deemed it necessary due to some unexpected concerns that have been overlooked which need first to be attended. He said, “The idea for this kind of motorcycle event seems not yet very timely. Perhaps in some opportune time in the future.”

For a bit of Trail Riding flashback here in Naga City: It was in 1973 when 4 riders in their first 100 cc Enduro bikes of different brands (2 Honda Cobras, 1 Yamaha DT & 1 Kawasaki KE) first met and became buddies.

The 4 Enduro pioneers of this city are Gil “Bong” Fernando, the late Justino “Pamboy’ de Jesus II, Ceasar “Czar” Villamora and Clarito “Larry” Limjoco, a former

Enduro and Motocross Local and National Rider and Champion himself in his own right in the 80’ and 90’s.

Their Enduro or “Dirt Bikes” as it was then commonly used were the first that ever rolled the then asphalt streets and rough roads of the city, its suburbs – from Pacol (what is now Nursery Road) to Carolina and Panicuason up to Malabsay Falls down to what is now Balatas Road, and areas of Camarines Sur - from rocky Siembre & Pagatpat zones of Calabanga to far sections of Tinambac and Siruma, to the parts of Minalabac, San Fernando and sands of Pasacao.

Beach to the uphill portions of Palestina (Isarog Farm), to the hills of Pecuaria in Baao, to the slope sections of Ocampo, Consocep and Tigaon, and many more. And they call themselves - the Harurut. “But it is not advisable to take the word literally.
