Candidates sign peace covenant on Christ the King

Candidates for local positions in San Jose, Camarines Sur signed a peace covenant on Christ the King for peaceful and honest elections.
Present at the covenant signing were mayoral candidates Dr Marco Chavez seeking re-election and opposing candidate Jerold Pena and their respective line up. The event was witnessed by the Comelec and PNP representatives as well as the priests of the Archdiocesan Shrine and Parish, Fr. Luisito Occiano and Fr. Misael Quindo and the Preparatory Seminary priests, Fr. Jay Jacinto and Fr. Eric Bobis.
The event was held during the celebration of Christ the King, a servant leader who is supposed to be the inspiration of every public official. The celebration was also attended by the parishioners and was likewise aired via livestreaming.
