Catanduanes PPO tops Bicol’s Outstanding Prosecution Office in 2022

VIRAC, Catanduanes --- The Department of Justice (DOJ), National Prosecution Service (NPS) awarded a Certificate of Commendation to Catanduanes Provincial Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) for being adjugded as the over-all Top Performing Prosecution Office of Region V for CY 2022.

The Certificates and Plaque of Commendation were given to the prosecutors and staff of the of PPO Catanduanes headed by Provincial Prosecutor Mary Jane L. Zantua. The PPO received a General Weighted Score of 5.00 or 99.88%(investigation disposition rate, case aging and prosecution success rate). Another Certificate of Commendation was also received by the PPO Catanduanes for achieving 100% Disposition Rate among the prosecution offices in Bicol for CY 2022.

Due to the inclement weather, Prosecutor Zantua and staff were not able to receive the award on May 31, at Palani Beach, Balud, Masbate.

Prosecutor Zantua invited Philippine Information Agency (PIA) Catanduanes Information Center Manager Edna Bagadiong and PBS Radyo Pilipinas- Catanduanes Station Manager Arlene Odal-Bagadiong to award the certificates and plaque to Catanduanes PPO on June 15, Thursday.

A Certificate of Commendation was also awarded to Catanduanes OPP Administrative Officer III Susan A. Sta Rosafor her forty (40) years of invaluable and dedicated service in the National Prosecution Office.

In her message, Zantua said that their office will remain committed in delivery of quality service to its stakeholders adding that they are offering the award to the people of Catanduanes. (PIA5/Catanduanes)
