Concepcion gang member slain in police operation

Two men were killed in separate shooting incidents on Saturday (Apr. 24) night and at dawn on Sunday (Apr.25) in Camarines Sur and Masbate, a police report said.
Mario Quite Sandrino, 49, an alleged member of Concepcion Crime Group of Barangay San Miguel, Bato town in Camarines Sur, was served a search warrant by police operatives at his residence on Sunday at around 2:25 AM, according to Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of the police in Bicol.
The report said the suspect seeing the approaching police operatives drew his gun and fired at the policemen forcing the lawmen to retaliate.
The suspect died on the way to a nearby health station.
In Cawayan, Masbate, an unidentified armed man gunned down Artemio Alburo, 29, of Barangay San Vicente.
The report said the suspect at around 7:50 PM called and asked the victim to get outside of his house and as the victim was coming out of his house, the suspects fired several shots from an unknown gun hitting the victim in various parts of this body.
The victim died on his way to a nearby hospital.
