PASACAO, Camarines Sur – In line with the intensified campaign of the Philippine National Police (PNP) under the leadership of Chief PNP Police General Nicolas D. Torre III to pursue and apprehend individuals involved in serious criminal offenses, operatives of the Pasacao Municipal Police Station (MPS) successfully arrested the town’s third most wanted person in a well-executed manhunt operation on Tuesday evening.

The arrest was carried out by members of the MPS Tracker Team led by PSSg Joel C. Rabeje at around 6:30 p.m. on June 10, 2025, in Barangay Balogo, Pasacao, Camarines Sur. The suspect, identified by the alias “Lim,” of legal age, married, and a resident of the same municipality, was apprehended without resistance during the implementation of Manhunt Charlie operations—a specialized PNP initiative focused on tracking and arresting wanted individuals.

Alias “Lim” was the subject of an outstanding Warrant of Arrest for five (5) counts of Rape in violation of Article 266-A (1)(d) of the Revised Penal Code, as amended by Republic Act No. 8353, also known as the Anti-Rape Law of 1997, and further strengthened by Republic Act No. 11648, which increased the protection of minors and updated the age of sexual consent in the Philippines.

The warrant, issued by the Regional Trial Court, 5th Judicial Region, Naga City, and docketed under Criminal Case Nos. 2025-0487 to 2025-0491, was dated June 10, 2025—the same day the suspect was arrested. The court recommended no bail for the accused, underscoring the gravity of the charges.

The successful operation is a testament to the dedication and vigilance of the Pasacao police force in maintaining peace and order in the municipality. According to the MPS chief, the operation is part of a broader effort to ensure that communities remain safe and that justice is served for victims of heinous crimes.

“We remain fully committed to the PNP’s directive to aggressively pursue all individuals evading arrest, particularly those involved in crimes as serious as sexual violence,” the Chief said. “This arrest not only reflects our resolve but also the strength of our coordination with the judiciary and local communities.”

The suspect is now in the custody of the Pasacao MPS and will be turned over to the issuing court for proper legal proceedings.

The PNP continues to urge the public to cooperate with authorities and report any information on fugitives or criminal activity in their area. Community vigilance and timely reporting remain crucial in ensuring a safer environment for all.
