CSCCII holds 6th Bicol Agri Summit

The Camarines Sur Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. in partnership with the Provincial Government of Camarines Sur will hold the 6TH BICOL AGRI SUMMIT on July 27-29, 2023 as part of the CamSur Business Expo Events, at the CamSur Capitol Convention Center, Pili, Camarines Sur.

The objective is to accelerate the progress of the agricultural industry by helping stakeholders make the transition to sustainable practices that protect both the environment and their bottom line.

Agribusiness is facing new and important challenges resulting from the consequences of the profound changes that have recently affected local, national, and global economics. This stems from the growing impact of climate change and dwindling natural resources caused by the pursuit of short-term profits without consideration for long-term effects. CSCCII believes that the solution will require agricultural enterprises to adapt to new requirements of production and seek innovative solutions.

The summit will feature entries and winners of the PINAKA-CONTEST and ANONG KWENTONG AGRI MO?-VIDEO REEL COMPETITION.

The Department of Agriculture will host learning sessions: EDIBLE LANDSCAPING, URBAN AND PERI URBAN AGRICULTURE, and FUEL SUBSIDY ASSISTANCE, EL NINO PHENOMENON. Launching and awarding of GULAYAN SA PAARALAN. Technology sessions on AQUACULTURE AND POST HARVEST at FISHERIES POST HARVEST, DIGITAL FARMERS PROGRAM at COCONUT-BASED LEARNING SITE FOR AGRI.

PLDT at SMART will share their community initiatives through the TikTok platform.

On the last day, SWINE SOLUTIONS, SOIL CONDITIONING, MODERN BROILER FARM, SUSTAINABLE PIG BREEDING THROUGH ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION, AGRI-FINANCING 101, SMART FARMING SOLUTIONS, and product presentations and other services.

The 6th Bicol Agri Summit is open to the public from 8am to 5pm, who interest in agriculture and agribusiness ventures.
