Qualified statutory rape

EFREN Delos Santos y Morata, tagged as Rank 10 Regional Most Wanted Person, was arrested by the Tracker Team of CIDG Camarines Sur PFU (Lead Unit), in coordination with other PNP operating units, at around 10:20 AM on April 14, 2025 in Barangay Antipolo, Tinambac, Camarines Sur.

The accused, 45 years old, male, married, a laborer, and a resident of the said barangay, was arrested by virtue of a Bench Warrant of Arrest for Qualified Statutory Rape under Paragraph 1(D), Article 266-A in relation to Article 266-B (2 counts) under Criminal Case Nos. 25-4282 and 25-4283. The warrant was issued by Hon. Glenda Florence Gumba-Almelor, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 63, Calabanga, Camarines Sur on March 27, 2025, with no bail recommended.

Buy-bust operation

AT around 10:20 AM on April 14, 2025, in Zone 1, Barangay Salvacion, Bato, Camarines Sur, personnel of Bato MPS, in coordination with PDEA ROV, conducted a buy-bust operation which led to the arrest of Piolo James Macasaya y Labadia, 24 years old, single, and a resident of Zone 7, Salvacion.

Confiscated from the suspect were: One (1) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu (buy-bust item), one (1) genuine P500.00 bill with serial number JT323415 (buy-bust money).

During a body search, operatives recovered: Three (3) more sachets of suspected shabu, the buy-bust money, several drug paraphernalia, one (1) .38 caliber revolver (Smith and Wesson) with defaced serial number loaded with six (6) live ammunition.

Arrest of person wanted for rape

AT around 4:40 PM on April 14, 2025, in Barangay Salawag-Dasma 3, Golden City, Dasmariñas, Cavite, the Tracker Team of Sipocot MPS arrested Jeffrey Abanes y Morco, 20 years old, single, a helper, and a resident of Barangay Anib, Sipocot, Camarines Sur.

The arrest was made by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Statutory Rape under Paragraph 1(D), Article 266-A of the RPC as amended by RA 8353, docketed under Criminal Case No. L-8548, issued by Hon. Cecilia Ruivivar Borja-Soler, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 29, Libmanan, Camarines Sur, dated July 9, 2024, with no bail recommended.

Statutory rape by sexual assault

AT around 4:45 PM on April 14, 2025, in Barangay Liwacsa, Presentacion, Camarines Sur, the Tracker Team of Presentacion MPS arrested Jenel Pantila y Bolima, alias “Putol”, 37 years old, single, and a resident of Barangay Bitaogan, Presentacion.

He was arrested by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest for Statutory Rape by Sexual Assault, under Criminal Case No. 2025-6966, issued by Hon. Ma. Angela Acompañado Arroyo, Presiding Judge of RTC Branch 58, San Jose, Camarines Sur, dated April 14, 2025, with a recommended bail of P120,000.00

Stabbing incident in Milaor

AT around 5:30 PM on April 14, 2025, a stabbing incident occurred in Zone 1, San Jose, Milaor, Camarines Sur, involving suspect Jose Esmabe Jr. y San Jose, 44 years old, single, and resident of the same barangay.

The suspect and the victim, Marites Cambaling y Eborda, had a heated argument which prompted the suspect to grab a small kitchen knife and stab the victim, hitting the left side of her stomach.

The victim was rushed to BMC Hospital in Naga City. Responding personnel from CMFC 3rd Platoon Border 1 arrested the suspect and turned him over to Milaor MPS.

A cellular call from a certain Rodel Esmabe was received by Milaor MPS around 5:45 PM, reporting the incident. Personnel responded immediately.
