Daet 103 Service Lions Club extends pediatric nutritional support to children battling cancer
Despite the impending Severe Tropical Storm Nika, the Daet 103 Service Lions Club pressed on with its Pediatric Nutritional Support for Cancer Patients advocacy on November 10, 2024.
This meaningful initiative sought to provide hope and care to four young children bravely battling cancer, offering not only vital nutritional assistance but also moments of joy amidst their struggles.
The children included those undergoing blood transfusions for aplastic anemia and others coping with conditions such as epilepsy, congenital heart disease, tetralogy of Fallot, and Down syndrome.
This event was a powerful display of compassion and resilience, underscoring the unwavering spirit of the children and the dedication of the Daet 103 Service Lions Club, headed by Dr. Eric V. Pabico as president. served as a reminder that even in the face of life’s storms, hope, faith, and love can shine brightly.
The courage of these young fighters inspires us all to persevere, embrace life’s challenges, and believe in the miracles that each day can bring.
The children who received dietary nutritional supplements, medications, and basic essentials: 4-year-old Freya Leigh, 14-year-old Yhel Philip, Mathew Jacob, and 4-year-old Rhojelly.
